Overview -
Euronics demonstrated a firm commitment to sustainability at their Barnsley facility, adhering to their goals of reducing carbon emissions, embracing a circular economy, curating a sustainable product range, and upholding environmental regulations. They implemented various initiatives to encourage the adoption of energy-efficient products and methods among their clientele.
Building on these initiatives, Euronics revisited their partnership with Watt Energy Saver, recognising the skill and proficiency exhibited during the erection of their new facility in Barnsley. They sought an expansion of the photovoltaic (PV) array that had been installed by Watt Energy Saver. This expansion was aimed at substantially boosting their capacity for renewable energy generation on-site, thereby diminishing their carbon footprint and advancing their stride towards net-zero emissions by 2050.
