Overview -

FreshLinc, operating from their Spalding facility, has placed sustainability at the forefront of their operational ethos, with goals likely focusing on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon footprint minimisation. These objectives are emblematic of a progressive approach to environmental stewardship within the logistics and distribution sector.

In collaboration with FreshLinc to advance these sustainability goals, Watt Energy Saver undertook a meticulous design process for a solar photovoltaic (PV) array, carefully navigating the G100 constraints mandated by the Distribution Network Operator (DNO). By conducting an in-depth analysis of the facility's half-hourly energy consumption data, Watt Energy Saver crafted a bespoke solar solution that maximised on-site energy consumption. This strategic deployment not only optimised the return on investment (ROI) for FreshLinc but also amplified the carbon savings, making a tangible contribution to their sustainability targets and demonstrating a sophisticated integration of renewable technology within the constraints of existing infrastructure.
