Overview -
Watt Energy Saver's project at Harthill School, developed in partnership with Wates Construction, exemplifies our expertise in delivering renewable energy solutions from the early design stages through to project completion. Beginning our involvement at RIBA Stage 2, we have been pivotal in transforming Harthill School into a model of sustainable energy use in the educational sector.
The project’s highlight is the state-of-the-art Green Roof Solar Array, meticulously designed for maximum energy production per square metre. Complementing this is our bespoke installation of Educational Canopies, which not only enhance energy generation but also adhere to the Department for Education's (DfE) Net Zero Carbon objectives.
These canopies are uniquely designed with child safety in mind, featuring a fully enclosed structure and integrating both inverters and downpipe cupboards seamlessly. This innovative approach positions our solution as a frontrunner in safety and efficiency, reflecting Watt Energy Saver’s commitment to merging ecological sustainability with educational enhancement at Harthill School.
