Client Testimonials
" Following a very successful installation of 298.08 kWp solar array, at our Bicker site, Turners appointed Watt Energy to install a much larger and more complex system at our head office in Newmarket. The 578.56 Kw system is mounted to the roof of our fruit packing operation (Turners PPL) its primary purpose being to provide energy to Packhouse and associated storage. Any surplus energy is transferred to the Coldstore operation.
Work began on 26th March 2019 and was completed by 17th April 2019. A speedy application process, managed by Watt Energy insured the system was tied to the 2018 Q4 Feed in tariff period. Watt Energy worked with the PPL and Site Services team to ensure the system was installed safely and with minimal disruption to the operation. As with the Bicker project all Turners staff we highly impressed with the Watt Energy team and associated contractors.
Since going live, the system has already demonstrated its ability to contribute strong proportion of PPL’s energy requirement. The significant outlay for the system meant Turners had to confident of its ability provide consistent energy generation over the coming 20 years or more. We believe the system shows our commitment to cleaner energy and we have already received positive feedback from our customers. We hope Turners’ choice of renewable energy will help ensure a sustainable business long into the future!"

"Yorkshire Water have ambitious plans to achieve carbon neutrality at their Buttershaw Head Office site, alongside ongoing work to ensure the site is exemplary in the management of water use, operates sustainable urban drainage and cares for employee well-being and bio-diversity.
A step in the drive towards carbon neutrality has been the installation of solar PV on the roof of the Midway building. Watt Energy, working with CBRE, developed an innovative delivery mechanism whereby all works were undertaken from the roof of the building with roof-mounted edge protection being installed for construction and retained for safety during future scheduled maintenance.
This meant that there was no requirement to scaffold which would have caused building access issues, noise and loss of car parking during construction. Both the edge protection and solar PV were clamped to the roof structure meaning that the roof sheet was not penetrated and noise levels during construction were kept to an absolute minimum – critical given the number of employees working within the building.
Watt Energy were a first class partner throughout and the installation was completed exactly according to plan and ahead of schedule. "

"Trans-Sport commissioned Watt Energy to provide a Solar PV solution to our new warehouse and distribution unit. Craig and the Team demonstrated their total professionalism and commitment in listening to our requirements and tailoring a package that suited all our needs. The work was planned around our operational constraints and carried out on time and in budget. They are a great bunch of guys and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services to others.”

“From day one through to project completion, the commitment of the Watt Energy team was a true demonstration of professionalism ensuring that design, costs, quality and most importantly the OFGEM approval of our project were delivered to meet our business needs.
Watt Energy have a real understanding of the requirements to gain RHI acceptance both in delivery of installation and the delivery of information to OFGEM; the RHI process is very rigorous and one that would have proven extremely difficult without Watt Energy.
The expertise and understanding of solid fuel biomass systems within their team is outstanding, I would have no doubt in using them on further projects or recommending them to others considering the installation of solid fuel biomass.”

“I would like to thank you very much for offering our members the chance to visit WattEnergySaver last Friday.
I am sure you realised that we had a lot of interested observers in our number. Can I say how well I thought you dealt with all the difficult and wide ranging questions.
We are a very mixed bunch, but when I announced the Watt Energy visit all our retired engineers pricked up their ears and made sure they got in on the act.
You gave us a fuller and more balanced appreciation of the various alternative energy sources than I have ever been presented with before.
Thank you once again for taking the time to show us round, and we all wish your business every good fortune for the future”

“We decided to choose Watt Energy Saver because we felt they had good experience with all the different types of renewables and we were offered good advice.
All of the staff and contractors did a good job and within the time frame as promised.
Our systems are working well and our first quarter payment has just been paid.
I have already advised others to visit The Centre of Renewable Energy at East Drayton to see what is available and better understand what products are available.”
